Give Thanks & Give Back

This Thanksgiving, let’s come together to volunteer for a purpose and give thanks by giving back by participating as a volunteer for the Homeward Bound 5K: Race to End Homelessness in Hawaii. This yearly event is hosted by the Punahou Girls’ Cross Country Team and raises funds for the Institute for Human Services, Inc. (IHS).

Volunteer Opportunity:

-Setting up and stocking the water/snack tables

-Hanging banners and signs

-Assisting with day-of packet and shirt pickup

-Guiding participants

-Cheering along the route and at the finish line

-Helping with cleanup and tear-down

6:45am: Volunteers arrive for setup

7:30am: Participants arrive

8:00am: Fun/ Walk Run

9:30am-10am: Tear-down and closing
